Build with Payaura

Integrate payment and verification capabilities into your own applications through Payaura's developer-focused API infrastructure.

Docs coming soonSee the API capabilities
  • REST APIs

A conventional REST interface over HTTPS, so integration works with the HTTP client you already use.

  • API authentication

Key-based authentication, with credentials issued, rotated and revoked from your dashboard.

  • Pay-In

Collect payments through integrated payment service providers.

  • Pay-Out

Initiate outbound payouts through integrated banking and payment providers.

  • Verification

Run supported verification checks, including PAN, through the same interface.

  • Transaction status

Query any transaction and get a consistent status, whichever provider handled it.

  • Webhooks

Server-to-server notifications on lifecycle events, so your system reacts instead of polling.

  • Standardised responses

One response and error model across every capability — provider differences are normalised before they reach you.

Integration path

What integrating is intended to look like

Four steps, in the order they happen. Test credentials before live ones, so nothing is built against real money.

  1. 01

    Get access

Complete onboarding and receive credentials for the test environment.

  2. 02

    Build against test

Integrate pay-in, pay-out or verification without touching real money.

  3. 03

    Handle webhooks

Subscribe to lifecycle events so your system stays in step with the platform.

  4. 04

    Go live

Switch to live credentials once your integration is verified and approved.

Documentation

Developer documentation is on the way

Payaura has not published API reference documentation yet. Rather than list endpoints and parameters that could change before release, this page describes the capabilities and leaves the contract to the documentation.

If you are planning an integration and need the API contract to scope the work, get in touch and we will share what is available for your use case.

For developers & technology teams

Built to be integrated, not just demonstrated.

The difference between a payment integration that takes a week and one that takes a quarter is rarely the happy path. It is the status model, the error handling, the retries and whether anything tells you what actually happened.

Developers & Technology Teams

One contract.
Fewer surprises.

  • Conventional REST

HTTPS and the HTTP client you already use — no bespoke transport to learn.

  • Consistent status model

The same transaction states across capabilities and providers.

  • Webhooks over polling

Lifecycle events pushed to your endpoint, with delivery visible in the dashboard.

  • One error model

Provider-specific failures normalised before they reach your code.

  • Credential control

Issue, rotate and revoke API keys yourself, per environment.

  • Auditable history

Every request retained as an operational record you can retrieve later.
